At Milwaukee ForgeTech, our engineering team bridges the gap between traditional industrial power and modern digital precision through the expert application of CAD/CAM software.
By utilizing advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD), we develop high-fidelity 3D models of complex geometries, allowing us to simulate metal flow and thermal dynamics before a single die is cut. This upfront virtual testing ensures that we achieve optimal grain flow and structural integrity on the first strike. Not only can we design and create our dies to build our customer's parts, but we can add value to our customers designs to create optimal parts for them.
These designs are then seamlessly transitioned into our Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) environment, where we generate high-precision toolpaths for our CNC machinery. This integration allows us to:
Maximize Material Yield: Precision nesting and flash-reduction strategies ensure we get the most out of every billet of 4140, 8620 or any exotic steel.
Eliminate Human Error: Direct data transfer from design to machine ensures that customer specifications are met with micron-level accuracy.
Drastically Reduce Lead Times: By automating the path from concept to finished die, we move parts onto the shop floor faster, driving the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) that keeps our customers competitive in a global market.
At the intersection of Milwaukee’s engineering talent and our forging heritage, we don't just make parts—we engineer performance.
