Helping You Make Informed Decisions
Frequently Asked Questions
We are proud to be ISO 9001:2015 certified. This international standard ensures that our Quality Management System (QMS) is robust, consistently delivering products that meet both customer and regulatory requirements. Our QMS is integrated into every stage of production, from initial engineering to final inspection.
In 2026, we will be moving forward with ISO 14001, AS9100 and IATF 16949 certification process.Absolutely. We are fully qualified to manufacture mission-critical components for the U.S. Military and its allies. Our CAGE Code is 76363, and we maintain a deep understanding of the rigorous durability standards required for defense applications. We are also pursuing our AS9100 certification to ensure quality for Aerospace as well as IATF 16949 to cover Automotive.
We take data security as seriously as we take metalwork. We are compliant with NIST SP 800-171 and are CMMC 2.0 certified. Our internal protocols ensure the secure management of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), protecting the intellectual property and national security interests of our clients.
Our CAGE Code is 76363. This identification allows us to streamline the procurement process for federal agencies and prime defense contractors.
At Milwaukee ForgeTech, we pride ourselves on our scalability. Whether you need a single prototype for a specialized project, a small but regular run on our hammer lines or a high-volume production press run with an EAU of 200,000+, we have the equipment—from Erie hammers to 4,000-ton presses—to deliver quality in any sized order.
Yes. We understand that "just-in-time" manufacturing is critical for your operations. We offer inventory management services where we can hold safety stock of your forged parts in our facility, allowing for rapid release and delivery when your production lines need them most.
While we can work with a wide range of materials, we specialize in high-strength alloys such as 4140 and 8620 steel. That being said, we have worked with almost every type, grade, alloy and size of steel over the years. And we are ensuring we can expand into other metal types and more exotic types as we move forward.
Our Quality Management System (QMS) utilizes advanced metrology and standardized testing protocols. Because our design and manufacturing are linked via CAD/CAM software, we eliminate manual data entry errors, ensuring that the physical part matches the digital twin with micron-level precision.
By combining our on-site inventory holding with our high-speed ABB robotic cells, we have significantly reduced traditional lead times. We will agree on time frames to meet your delivery dates on the front side of all engagements. And, our ability to "pick and ship" from held inventory means your parts can often be on a truck within 24 hours of a release trigger when you forge with us and take advantage of our inventory services.
With over 115 years of experience, we offer a level of structural integrity and on time delivery that other forges simply can't match. Forging improves the grain flow of the metal, creating parts that are stronger and more durable. When you add our CMMC 2.0 readiness and ISO 9001 quality, you get a partner that is built to protect both your equipment and your data. We believe deeply in open and constant communication to create long lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships.
